As most of you already know, we were fortunate to be alive for a very rare sky event called the Transit of Venus. This “eclipse-like” event of Venus traversing across the face of the sun only happens in pairs, every hundred and five years. We were incredibly fortunate to have been here for both the 2004 and the just-past June 5th & 6th, 2012 Transits of Venus. The next pair won’t occur again until 2117 and 2125!
