Writer’s Astrology: Plot & Character Development – and Overcoming Writer’s Block

Get Started Today (or get finished!) Writing the Novel,
Play or Screenplay of Your Dreams!

When we work together using astrology to develop your creative project – your novel, play, or screenplay – you’ll be amazed at how easily you’ll be inspired and able to move forward with your story and how in-depth you can create your characters. With the charts we select for your main characters, they’ll come to life with all their facets clearly showing. Your characters will express the complexities that every real person is born with. And you’ll be able to use the astrological time-line to understand what happens throughout your character’s lives, and use this time-line to develop what happens next and next and next in your story. This is great stuff! No more writer’s block or wondering where your characters are heading… this is the opportunity to write the great story you’ve been waiting to write!

Testimonial:

“I’ve just completed Michelle’s 5-session package on Writer’s Astrology: Character and Plot Development and Overcoming Writer’s Block. I’m notoriously bad at taking the time to know my characters before I write. I just want to jump in and begin the story. Thank heavens for Michelle. We started with my heroine’s birth chart, followed with her transit chart, brought in the hero’s birth chart, then his transit chart, and ended with a composite chart for both. I’ve never had so much fun with my characters. They’ve lived in my head for a couple years now while I’ve sorted out possible story directions, so I knew certain attributes and emotions. But the charts and Michelle’s interpretive insights gave me a whole new perspective on their psychology profiles, their interactions with other people, their goals, resistance, needs, and fears. The transit charts wonderfully illuminated their personal journeys at the time of their meeting and showed the challenges and opportunities they would face with each other. I’m so indebted to Michelle’s brilliant understanding and explanation of astrology as it pertains to human behavior. What a time-saver these sessions are. And we had so much fun exploring! I have so many ideas in my head that my keyboard stays hot with writing all the juicy scenes that come directly from our extensive work together. I highly recommend these sessions to any writer who wants a deeper understanding of their characters, a more complex plot, and to have fun writing.”

PACKAGE OPTIONS

One Character / 2 Sessions – $375

We meet twice for an hour-and-a-half each time:

1) Chat. Select a birthchart for your character based on what you already know. Use that birthchart to discover and explore EVERYTHING about her – potentials, challenges, life purpose, way of being, way of communicating, emotional make-up, etc. This is where we get ideas for character development.

2) Chat. Use your character’s Transit Chart to discover where she is now and moving forward into the future, what’s impacting her on multiple levels and how she will respond. We dive into the cycles of her life at this point. Here is where we get ideas for the story and plot development.

This gives you the juice that brings your characters and the way they relate and respond to each other to full, brimming life. So much great story line comes from this as well! This is the icing on the fictional cake.

The Lunar Phases: New Age Lunacy or Ancient Wisdom?

I found this tonight from The Living Notebook – fantastic blog. He’s a grad student experimenting with how the phases of the moon affect his creativity. And he’s coming from a skeptic’s perspective. I love it and hope you will too!

The Lunar Phases: New Age Lunacy or Ancient Wisdom?

Classic

writingI’ve been trying to write a post to remind you of this particular energy for two days now. What’s the hold-up? Hmmm. I’d say, at the risk of sounding woo-woo, that it’s Mercury Retrograde. No kidding…I woke up Monday morning, the first morning of Mercury Retrograde, and my phone, internet and TV were all down. There was a problem with Comcast. I made the call to report the outage, and over 3 hours later my service was restored…but only for a little while. I spent the rest of the day trying to work without much luck. Pretty much the same thing happened Tuesday, except the outage came late in the day instead of early. Late afternoon I finally threw in the towel and decided to take my own advice. I stopped pushing…stopped forcing. I decided that a walk with my family was a better idea than watching the “connected” bubble at the bottom of my screen, hoping for a few minutes of work time. I picked up a book that I’ve been wanting to read…and what happened? I became inspired to start reworking a scene of my own book. Not at my computer, not in my office. I was curled up with a notebook and a pen in a comfy chair with my son beside me, my mom happily watching Turner Classics, and my dog at my feet. And all this stuff just started coming up! It was fabulous. I connected with my immediate relationships, relaxed, allowed myself to take a step back and WOW. Inspiration flooded me. So don’t despair my friends. Yes. Mercury is Retrograde…maybe you should be too!
